Prof. Dr. med. Dennis von Heimburg ist gemeinsam mit Prof. Dr. med. Gottfried Lemperle und Dr. med. Dirk Richter Herausgeber der „Ästhetischen Chirurgie“ einem vierbändigen Standardwerk aus dem Ecomed Storck Verlag.

Bei dem vorliegenden Lehrbuch handelt es sich um das erste umfassende Handbuch über die Ästhetische Chirurgie in deutscher Sprache. Größter Wert wurde auf erstklassiges Bildmaterial gelegt. Fotografien, Phasenzeichnungen und OP-Skizzen stellen die OP-Techniken Schritt für Schritt dar. Vorher-Nachher-Dokumentationen anhand von Fotos zeigen die Veränderungen durch die einzelnen Operationen.

Das Handbuch ist als Loseblattwerk konzipiert und erlaubt so die zeitnahe Integration neuer Entwicklungen, Erkenntnisse und Methoden der Fachdisziplin.

Die Autoren

Gut zwei Drittel der Autoren sind international tätig. Alle zusammen stehen für Know-How der Spitzenklasse.
Dieser Operationsatlas ist für den Spezialisten konzipiert, der die Grundbegriffe des Fachs kennt. Er wendet sich sowohl an den jungen Chirurgen, der seine Ausbildung vorwiegend in der rekonstruktiven Plastischen Chirurgie erhielt, aber auch an den erfahrenen Plastischen Chirurgen, der mit einer bestimmten ästhetischen Operation konfrontiert ist.
